About Us:

LeBlanc (& co.) Communications is a sought-after strategic communications firm that helps social purpose organizations build their brands, fulfil their missions, and increase their impact. We work with nonprofits, philanthropy, labour, the public sector, and select mission-aligned small businesses.

Our core services are strategy, campaigns, training, and brand and web design. We lead exceptional design work for our clients, including rebrands, brand refreshes, websites, design for campaigns, and other design projects.

Key Details

Annual Salary: $70,000

Work hours: LeBlanc (& co.) Communications has a 4 day (32 hour) work week for salaried employees, from Monday-Thursday.

Vacation: We provide 4 weeks vacation per year and a company shutdown between Christmas Eve and New Year’s.

Location: This role will be hybrid in Canada with a mix of primarily virtual and some in-person work. This position requires the ability to work in Canada. There is a preference for candidates in Winnipeg or Ottawa but candidates in other locations will be considered.

Health Benefits: This position will come with partial subsidy of health benefits or a $100 / month stipend in lieu of benefits

Job Description

As LeBlanc (& co.) Communications grows, we are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team. We are looking for a designer who can both lead projects and support other projects, depending on our needs.

Leading on Design Projects

  • Create brand identities for organizations through leading brand refreshes and rebrands for clients
  • Create brands for campaigns and projects
  • Execute miscellaneous graphic design work

Supporting on Design Projects 

  • Support colleagues who are leading brand design projects by designing collateral in line with brand standards
  • Support the Senior Designer on web projects with straightforward tasks (ie. using templates to create secondary webpages) in line with brand standards

Teamwork and Client Support Activities 

  • Attend client meetings
  • Where required, facilitate or co-facilitate design visioning conversations  with clients
  • Attend staff meetings, other internal meetings, and team retreats
  • Support the Senior Designer, Operations Manager, and Principal Consultant in maintaining and improving systems and processes related to design work
  • Receive and process client feedback
