About Us:

LeBlanc (& co.) Communications is a small agency devoted to social impact communications. We help social impact organizations strengthen their communications strategy and fulfil their missions.


About the Hiring Process:

We will compensate anyone invited to interview with us with an honorarium totalling $60 for their time during the interview process.

We will provide written interview questions to interviewees in advance.

We will update all applicants who are not hired at the end of the process.


Key Details:

Annual Salary: $35,000 for a part-time 16-20 hours per week role. 

Work hours: This role is 16-20 hours per week and will require working across Monday-Thursday. 

Location: This role will be hybrid with a mix of virtual and in-person work (in Winnipeg or Ottawa). Thus, we are seeking a candidate living in Winnipeg or Ottawa. The vast majority of the time, the work will be remote. 

Our Principal Consultant lives in Winnipeg but travels to Ottawa for work and presently our staff retreats are held in Ottawa. Our team is located in Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Victoria. 

Contract Length: Until February 31, 2025

Vacation: We provide 4 weeks vacation per year; a company shutdown between Christmas Eve and New Year’s.

Background Information:

This is a role for someone who truly excels in operations, administration, and project management.

It will be a great fit for someone who is excited by project management and wants to meticulously focus on our internal organization and client experience, both with each individual client, and at a systems-level.

This role requires project management experience.

We are specifically a social impact firm, and thus this role will relate to supporting social impact clients in fields like housing, health, arts, philanthropy, feminist, 2SLGBTQI+ issues, and more.


Job Description:

Project management and client experience 

  • Leads project management for both standardized client services and for custom projects including leading daily, weekly, and as-needed project management processes to keep our client work organized and successful 
  • Works with the Principal Consultant to ensure that LeBlanc (& co.) can deliver an excellent client experience
  • Acts as the lead on our Asana management 
  • Attends client kickoff meetings and other client meetings as needed
  • Works with the Principal Consultant to implement or update measures related to client experience (such as SOPs, client communication processes, and on-boarding manuals)
  • Creates agendas for client meetings


  • Supports the Principal Consultant with her scheduling and calendar management
  • Supports the Principal Consultant with financial administration work (such as filing company expenses) 
  • Supports on other miscellaneous administrative work as required

Requirements and desired experience 

Required experience and skills:

  • Experience in project management is the key competence for this role

Desired skills:

  • Experience in client management, as gained through freelancing or working with an agency, is a strong asset 
  • Experience in project management of communications and/or design work is a strong asset
  • Experience in a social impact field is a strong asset
